Unifying Data for Predictive Inventory Management
Industry: E-Commerce / Retail
THE CHALLENGE
Operational Bottlenecks
A major e-commerce retailer was struggling with data silos. Their sales data lived in Shopify, inventory in an ERP, marketing data in Facebook/Google Ads, and customer behavior logs in a separate analytics tool.
Reporting was a manual, weekly process that was often outdated by the time it reached executives. They were frequently running out of best-sellers while overstocking slow-moving items because they couldn't see the full picture in real-time.
THE SOLUTION
Intelligent Architecture
OMNIai architected a modern data stack to centralize these 12 disparate sources. We built robust ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) pipelines using Airflow to stream data into a Snowflake data warehouse.
On top of this unified layer, we implemented dbt (data build tool) models to clean and aggregate the data into business-ready "marts". We then connected this live data to a custom machine learning model that predicted inventory demand based on seasonal trends and marketing spend.

THE IMPACT
Measurable Success
The transition from weekly spreadsheets to real-time dashboards was game-changing. The executive team now had live visibility into margin per SKU and channel performance.
The predictive inventory model improved forecast accuracy to 95%, enabling "Just-in-Time" restocking that reduced warehousing costs and cut stockouts by 40%. The data infrastructure is now the backbone of their strategic decision making.
